Those of you who follow me on Snapchat will know that I love my insanity workouts; in fact, I just enjoy going to the gym in general. It’s taken me a while to find a workout schedule and routine that I actually love and stick to, and have helped me make massive progress with my fitness in just a few months.
Because of the nature of my workouts, I now occasionally use a plant-based protein powder, sometimes just with water, and sometimes in a delicious smoothie!
Right now, this is my favourite smoothie to have when I come back from an insanity workout, as I’m too tired to cook anything at that point!
1 cup coconut water (or just use water)
1-2 scoops protein powder
1 tbsp nut butter (almond is still my favourite)
A sprinkling of cinnamon
1 tbsp oats (optional)
What to do:
- Place all the ingredients into a blender in the order shown
- Blend it up and enjoy!
