Disclaimer: I don’t actually eat this anymore, I love your standard tub of ice cream too much. Also it’s way too cold in this country most of the time. Not worth it!
It is definitely about time I made this post! If you don’t want to eat dairy this is just so simple and delicious! The possibilities are endless, but there are some key flavours that I just keep coming back to, and here they are:
Berry nana ice cream: 1 large frozen banana, 2-300g frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, take your pick!), a little liquid to blend
Acai nana ice cream: 1 large frozen banana, 200g frozen berries, 6 acai berry capsules
Tropical nana ice cream: 1 large frozen banana, 100g frozen pineapple, 100g frozen mango, 100g frozen papaya
Berry chocolatey nana ice cream: 1 large frozen banana, 200g frozen berries, 2 tbsp cacao/cocoa powder
Optional extras: protein powder makes it a perfect post-workout meal/snack, stir in some raw cacao nibs for a crunch, or a nut butter swirl will give a protein kick as well as adding extra creaminess and deliciousness.
